Not Sure How to Use Essential Oils?

Hi! My name is Katie. In this video, I give the rundown on the basic essential oils (and also share what's in the “cider mill” recipe for your diffuser). Young Living has revamped their website and you can now purchase single oils or products without having to purchase a starter kit. Click HERE to start shopping!

A Few of My Favorite Things…

YOUNG LIVING ESSENTIAL OILS

I would love to share with you some of my go-to’s and favorite products that I use from Young Living.

Essential Oils

  • Lavender - This is our #1 go-to oil overall. It’s the first one I grab if the kids get bumps or scrapes or burns. Just 1 drop in a carrier oil (coconut oil, olive oil, or YL has a V-6 oil I keep on hand) and dab on the affected area. It provides instant relief for my kiddos and helps the healing process. I also add it to my mascara, use it on my hair, and add it to skin creams and lotions.

  • Peppermint - I cannot survive without peppermint. Okay, I COULD but I wouldn’t want to. Car rides (unless I’m driving) cause motion sickness for me, so peppermint becomes my best friend on long rides (or any rides, really). I find relief by just smelling the peppermint. We also use it for headaches, mainly also by just smelling it. For really bad tummy aches, like when you ate too much or ate something you shouldn’t have, 1 or 2 drops in a carrier oil rubbed clockwise around the belly button…BOOM. Fast relief.

  • White Angelica - “Mom, can you put the good dream oils in our diffuser?” This oil blend has a soft, super relaxing scent, and it’s my kids’ absolute favorite in the diffuser at bedtime. It helped my youngest when he was having bad dreams and waking up in the middle of the night (hence why they call it the “good dream oil”).

Diffusers

  • Lantern Diffuser - This has been my absolute favorite diffuser (even over the Aria) from Young Living. It’s so cute and fits my decor perfectly. I love the light color options (the candle flicker is my go-to).

  • Dew Drop Diffuser - This diffuser is just a diffuser. That’s the best part. Nothing really complicated or fancy. It has light on (blue) or off. That’s it. I highly recommend this one to anyone looking for the most cost efficient but super effective and gets the job done type of diffuser.
